Education

The ASCM El Paso/Juarez Chapter offers on-site training in a variety of formats. Class size can vary, but typically it is limited to 25 students per class. Classes can be scheduled during work or after hours, on weekends or weekdays. Students enjoy the co-worker involvement, plus participants can work with their colleagues on course teachings.

We provide five (5) APICS Certification Programs: Certified Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD), SCOR-DS Supply Chain Operational Reference and Certified in Transformation for Supply Chain (CTSC).

Also there are 6 NEW Certificate Programs in the areas of Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Technology, Resilience, and Supplier Relationship Management.

We can tailor courses to fit your needs; some examples include Inventory and Purchasing, Planning and Demand, Manufacturing, and MRP. Additionally, we offer courses for the Demand Driven Institute certifications in Demand Driven Planner Professional and Demand Driven Leader Professional.

To be eligible to take the CSCP exam, a candidate must meet at least one of the following criteria:

Have three or more years of supply-chain-related business experience
Hold a conferred bachelor's degree or an international equivalent

Hold an active CPIM, CPIM-F, SCOR-P, CPM, CPSM, CTL, CLTD, CLTD-F OR CSM designation

The Exam

To earn the CTSC, you must pass one exam covering 4 modules of content. The exam consists of 150 questions, and you have 3.5 hours to complete the exam.

CTSC exams are administered via computer-based testing at Pearson VUE test centers worldwide and online through the OnVUE system.
